Problems with Users Accounts

Hi, I'm new to Madsonic but think I got a pretty good understanding of it now, been through all the settings and made it look and work as I please.

But I've got problems getting other user accounts to work... and I don't know what does this:

- am I 'limited' to only logging in with my admin account even though I've tried to login with a new user account in a different browser?
- has it something to do with 1+ logins from the same IP address?
- has it something to do with the host I'm using?

When seeing this login screen I can only get access using the admin or my own admin login:



So in other words, the newly created user account won't work

when you create the new user, make sure you put in an email address and press save, then go to the user drop down list to make sure it is there....I noticed that if you don't put in an email address, it will return "invalid email" and I thought it saved it just fine, but it wasn't there.

Tried that, but still no access using the new user login information.

Can you on the same computer/IP address login using another username/password?

Yes I can, I can log in with as many accounts as I make on my same pc/ip

so when you make a new user and save it....do you then see it in your drop down list of users? so you know it got saved?

post what version and which operating system you installed it on (windows,linux, etc...) maybe someone can get a better idea then.

I figured it out, even though it won't work. It's a securty layer my host is demanding because of the other services they provide on that address, so I'll figure something else out, if I wanna share...
