Control jukebox user with DSub's jukebox mode

I looked at several questions on Subsonic's jukebox mode and DSub's ability (with the RC button) to have music play from the server. None seemed to address the feature. If they do, I must have missed it.

What I'd like to do: Control the same jukebox mode player from any browser or DSub.

I've created a jukebox user to log in with from any browser. Using the same player allows any of the browsers to control the jukebox, which is awesome.

Is there way to have DSub use that same jukebox player to control the same jukebox session initiated by a browser?

I can certainly log in on DSub using the same Subsonic user, but the common jukebox player isn't the default player and I don't think mobile apps can change players.

I may have phrased my original post poorly. Or it may just not be possible. But just to be sure, DSub cannot control an existing jukebox player, correct?

I don't think so, no. You are correct in assuming the mobile clients can't change their player. The player is based off of the name in the api, and each client/browser is going to have their own.
