I've been running Subsonic (registered) for many years. I've moved the software to a new platform. This new platform has less memory than the older platform. The issue that I'm having, and I can't find an answer to, is that when the standalone (as installed) Subsonic software launches, it will create 19-20 java threads/children. While running 150MB per process, this adds up and my resources are running thin. Even under load (at most I'll have 3-4 people streaming at once) only a couple of the java processes have any CPU load - the rest remain idle. Having 19-20 processes is rather extreme, and I can't find a method to limit this down to say 4-5 instead. Is there a way to do this? I have to assume this is part of the Subsonic program itself that is creating these processes.
