WiiU & Subsonic

Postby Slayersz » Sun Aug 04, 2013 6:26 am

Playback Application and version: NetFront® Browser NX v2.1
Subsonic Version: 4.8 (build 3434) – April 17, 2013
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.7.0_21, Windows Server 2012 (69.5 MB / 236.6 MB)
Hardware Platform: Windows Server 2012
Java Memory Limit: 1024

I've been in love with subsonic since it was first introduced to me a few months ago, and just now started getting into the video streaming side of it.

I had just recently purchased a Wii-U and actually enjoy it quite a bit, but I'm having some problems getting it to connect up to my Subsonic server. I already know the built in web browser is pretty junky, but I was able to find the official specs of the web browser from Nintendo's website.

http://www.nintendo.com/wiiu/built-in-s ... ser-specs/

Basically, I can load up to my Subsonic server and put in my credentials, but when I click login it simply acts like its processing my request and then comes right back with the same page (with the fields empty) and no error on my screen.

I've checked inside the subsonic.log file in the root directory and it has nothing on the situation.

And I know the subsonic servers working perfectly fine as I have multiple other devices connected to it just fine.

If anyone has some suggestions or solutions for my problem that would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I'have te same problem, i tried to diable login page but that don't give any effect. Problem is java script. WiiU have a bulid-in web developer tools, it's simply - you must enable this in Web browser settings and type ip addres in you'r computer browser. Perhaps this help.
