Bug with "Next" on search Results ?

Postby sashimi » Tue Jun 30, 2009 2:46 pm

Upgraded to 3.7 yesterday. Noticed something and wondering if it is a bug.

When I do a search and the list is long I am shown first twenty five (1 to 25 of 45) results and a Next button. Clicking the Next Button does not seem to do anything. I do have Javascript enabled.

Any thoughts ?

thanks much.

I have this same issue, but it only depends on what computer I am using. My computer at home I have no problem using the next button to scroll through results, but any computer at work can not use the next button.

I will try it out tonight from another PC and on the Ubuntu machine (where Subsonic runs) directly and see what happens.

Sounds like a javascript problem. What browser are you using?

I am using IE 6. Most JS stuff seems to work ok. Should I check for something specific ?

I'm not sure. Is there any icon or message in the status bar indicating JS errors?

Otherwise, I strongly recommend upgrading to a more recent browser if you have the opportunity. IE6 is notoriously known for all its bugs and shortcomings.

No warning icon. But when I place my cursor on the Next button I see the status bar indicate a message "javascript:noop()"

Will try it on firefox.

thanks
