Android Video Lag

Postby helpmeplease » Mon Dec 30, 2013 6:31 pm

I have all the default settings.

When playing *videos* on my andriod device, the audio is great however, the frames are like 2 per second. It stutters like crazy.

I don't believe my server is transcoding my mkv files to my device. On my computer, I can easily view my movies online without lag.

Is there any way to fix this?

I did manage to make it non-laggy if i enabled transcoding on my android device. I don't want it to transcode the videos on my andriod as that would waste battery. Is it possible to transcode on the server, then stream it my andriod without any lag.

I really want to purchase premium, but I won't until this can be fixed.

The transcoding that happens on the server makes it very laggy on my andriod device.
If i disable the transcoding and transcode it on my andriod device, it doesn't lag.

The transcoding on my server works great on my computer broswer, but not andriod
