Subsonic 4.9 transcoders (OSX)

It seems that the transcoders are not being installed in the new 4.9 release.

A response would be much appreciated. Is this a known bug?

Brand new to Subsonic I think I'm having the same problem. From the documentation it seems like these transcoders should come with the installation. But when I go to Settings > Players I see a red error message next to Max Bitrate saying: "Transcoders does not appear to be installed."

I'm running 4.9 (just installed it). Do I need to search out and install my own transcoders?

Even if you do have the transcoders installed from a previous version transcoding is completely broken in the OSX release
