Last.FM Scrobbler App Integration Issue

Server version: Madsonic 5.0.3840

When I am logged into Last.fm using their native android app, music from DSub gets scrobbled twice. To be clear, on my Last.fm page a song played one time is listed two times.
In the DSub playback settings, the "Scrobble to Last.fm" setting is unchecked.

If I log out of the Last.fm android app and add a check mark to the "Scrobble" setting in DSub, everything lists properly on the Last.fm page as having been played on Subsonic.
