Cannot connect on my Internal Network but can externally.

Postby Jgarc2 » Sun Feb 16, 2014 4:09 am

I am receiving this message..."A network error occurred. Retrying 4 of 4" followed by "A network error occurred. Please check the server address or try again later."

This is only happening when I am connected to my wireless network and only on my two Android Phones. (externally I can connect and listen/download just fine.)
I can see my music folders but when trying to access the songs I get the error.

I have an iPad air and it works fine while I'm connected to my wireless network.

This has happened on two different routers, and on both routers I have setup port forwarding (both udp and tcp).
I have assigned a static ip address to my computer that has the subsonic program on it.

Please help.

Use lan IP and port when at home: (eg. http://192.168.1.12:4040). Does this fix?

I kinda fixed the issue......it seems that subsonic has 2 apps for Android (Subsonic and DSub.)

I had the issue in the Subsonic app.

I downloaded and installed the DSub app and configured the settings.

This seemed to resolve the issue, I can stream externally and internally.
