[SOLVED]video files wont play only from 1 folder

Problem Description: Video files wont play from my movies folder but files in my TV folder will play fine. I have tried divx, mkv, avi, mp4. when I click play nothing happens, no errors...nothing its as if the play button simply doesn't work only for files contained in that folder

Troubleshooting Steps: I have rolled my Java back to jre6 as I have read jre7 has issues with subsonic, as well as restarting the service as well as the server. I have also removed the movie folder, cleaned up the database, and then re-added the folder.

Playback Application and version: Webplayer as well as set Subsonic to use an external player. both yield the same result. However the Ultrasonic player for android reports no media found when I click on the file name to play.

Is Subsonic at least listing the files when you refresh the library?
Try copying a file from TV into movies; will it play then?

Yes the files are listed.

I will try to copy a TV show to the movie folder and play it when I get home from work, and post back.

Ok I tried to copy a file from the TV folder to the Movie folder and the new file would not show up refreshing the database or removing and re-adding folder, so I tried to add it as
a folder its self and subsonic reported the folder could not be found.

Long story short it was a permissions issue, I took ownership of the folder refreshed the database and all files now work.
