I've added a new beta to the store. The main thing I would like feedback on is whether the ChromeCast fixes I put in work for everyone. There were also numerous other improvements, so be on the lookout for anything that seems broken.

Could the large art be configurable? It may grow on me but it now takes a lot longer to swipe through large lists. I'd be more willing if the Library had the same fast scroll as 'Now Playing' has.

I'm probably not going to make it configurable. That would require a crap ton of duplicated code. What lists do you have that large that require a lot of swiping through? I can add it to the album lists like Recently Added pretty easily, but do you really have artists with that many albums to swipe through?

Can you make the new large album art an option? Large album art or old fashioned list?

Alright, fixed. I also already fixed another issue with pull to refresh being triggered when it shouldn't be. I'll probably be updating later tonight if no one else brings anything else up.

This issue has been present throughout all DSubs up to this point.
When I am downloading a song (not on the same LAN), 10% of the songs will have glitches in them, or cut early.

This is likely because DSub loses focus on my Android player (Nexus 7/Galaxy S3 Mini), but what do I know?
Is there anyway to match the hash of the transcoded file on the server to the hash of the downloaded file or is that beyond the scope of DSub?
If mismatched, redownload.

The question really has nothing to do with the Beta. Do you want to move this discussion to either a new thread, or in the main DSub topic thread?

Thank you for enabling fast scroll on the 'Album Lists'. If large art isn't going to be configurable that's the reason I requested 'fast scroll' in 'Library' because my folders structure is mostly flat.

Just joined the beta project (running 4.9 beta 3). There are some great features here, thanks for your continued work on it.

I love pulling the last.fm artist info from the subsonic server, and the ability to see related artists. I didn't see a way to play (or shuffle play) all related artists, like the "similar artist radio" feature on the web subsonic client. Is it there and I missed it? If not, adding an option in the settings dropdown would be much appreciated.

Secondly, it seems like you hold off loading the artist window (i.e. go to library, select an artist) until the server loads the last.fm info. This causes loads to take longer than expected. I'm not sure how challenging this is, but is there any way you could handle this like the web client does (i.e. display the album list right away, then display the last.fm info when it loads)? I haven't seen consistent behavior on the web side about how subsonic caches the last.fm info, so if this is a problem that will go away once subsonic gets the artist info cached, feel free to ignore this.

Thanks!
