I never got an admin password or username

It just so happens that years ago i tried using subsonic demo version on this computer, an iMac.....now I just purchased the year subscription under another email....now I can't make any changes because the older username is the only one that works on this comp...how do I reset the user to be able to use this new account on my iMac? thank you
