Just a quick question. I notice that when loading the app in Chrome, it displays the URL 'http://jamstash.com/#/library' in the URL bar; this would tend to indicate to me that my server settings are being stored and/or forwarded through/on an external server under your control - is this the case? If not, can you explain how the app works in this regard please? Obviously the ideal scenario would be for the settings to be stored locally and passed directly to the server being connected to.

Looking forward to your reply! Thanks for your time

All settings are stored in HTML5 LocalStorage. Open Chrome > F12 (Developer Toolbar) > Resources > LocalStorage

The webserver doesn't store anything, just loads the initial page. Your queries go directly to your server, which can be verified by looking at the Network tab (F12) and clicking a link.

I just upgraded from an old MiniSub version to JamStash. Now I'm missing the AutoPilot.

Can someone tell me where it's hidden?

It's a checkbox in Settings now, "AutoPlay" ;)

OK. I've set this option and saved the settings. How do I get Jamstash to start playing? Pressing the play button or opening the playlist does not work as there are no songs in the play list.

What exactly is Jamstash? Am I right in thinking that by installing it on my computer I can stream from my subsonic library on something like an iPad on a remote network?

How do I install it?

Does it do anything to my existing subsonic installation, like overwrite anything, or does it sit side by side?

Edit: I've found the wiki and tried to do a manual install, but when I go to host:port/Jamstash I can't log in. I can out my username in fine, but I can't type a password or server as something happens when I get to 5 characters.

I worked around this by copying and pasting my password and server, but then I just get a message saying "HTML5 notifications are not available for your current browser".

I could use the demo fine.

Edit2: Just realised that if I click on the demo link it now uses my credentials and I can browse my server but I can't seem to play anything. I press play and the songs are added to the queue but nothing plays.
