Alphabetize the genre list!

I have a large library as most of you do and have 150+ genres to deal with. When I go to "By Genre" from the main screen and drop the list down it is a jumbled mess because it's not alphabetized and this makes it hard to find specific genres. This almost defeats the purpose of the feature in the first place.

Please alphabetize the list of genres in the drop down menu. This simply makes sense and should be part of the road-map for the next release.

Hello Everyone!

I'm actually a new premium user looking for an alternative to the »big players« in streaming and cloud business.
Subsonic could be an interesting option by featuring good ideas. BUT it seams to me, that the service is not created for users with huge sound collections (as most of you might be as well (?)). Listing and arranging by genre is one of the most important ways for me to manage the quantity of song files. So it is for me essential to have more options by using the genre drop down. Starting with the missing alphabetically order of the genres. Does for anyone makes it sense to have the genres ordered by the numbers of items inside? I highly doubt that... But anyway, could you please, please start any optimization of this part of your music player? I would really appreciate it very much!

I think an alphabetized genre list would be nice but in the meantime you can try to start typing the genre you want to listen to while the list is dropped...
