Sorry about that. Will fix it to default to 2000 Kbps as was the intention.

An unfortunate side effect of upgrading the jQuery UI library. I've fixed it now.

Do you have any more information about this? Not sure what you refer to.

Thanks!

I understand that the song is probably directly retrieved rom the Subsonic server, but may be the client could send (after the total time of the song), the following request to the chromecast?

rgds,

The Chromecast should auto-advance to the next song in the play queue (but the web page has to be open). Does this not happen on your system?

I updated a week or so ago, and also changed the location of my music and my playlists are now empty. As I understand it though, the playlists are in the database. Given that the location of the music changed, I had to fix that in Subsonic. Is there a way to get my playlists back? Even if I have to edit them to change the base locations of the files, it will be better than just losing them.

Hi,

as I found out this was due to my welcome message which included "#" characters.

Could you add the possibility to change the standard column width for a user?

[quote="daneren2005"][quote="HippopoKiboko"]And still present bug. Nobody can't download files with unicode names.
It is terrible. This bug is present during SIX(!) years.
If you can't fix this bug maybe you should write about this?
i.e. "If you are using non-english names for files please don't use the subsonic"? :?

Well that's a bit silly. While it definitely should be fixed, its not like downloading is even remotely the point of subsonic. He could take it out altogether and I doubt more then a few percent of users would even notice.

Just though it would be worth mentioning that, whilst I might indeed be part of a minority, the download capability is very important to me. I regularly use DSub to download music from my Subsonic library to my phone's SD card for offline listening.

It has been a while since i have been on here... My server had a catastrophic failure. After a huge donation from a good friend of mine, the server is back online.

Here is the issue... I was down over a month and so was no big deal, but after coming back online, everything was back to normal. Then I updated to the new Subsonic 5.0Beta2. After updating to that version, all the roku's no longer will play video. I haven't changed anything on the server side, but I did notice a change log line where you said you fixed some ffmpeg command.

Bugfix: Updated ffmpeg commands to fix some transcoding issues.

I don't want to think that was what caused the problem, but I am at a loss at what it could have been.

Here is my transcoding line which is also set for the Roku's

Code: Select all
ffmpeg -ss %o -i %s -async 1 -b %bk -s %wx%h -ar 44100 -ac 2 -v 0 -f flv -vcodec libx264 -preset superfast -threads 0 -

Mind you, this has worked flawless for a long time. I am also pasting some log files in here where this was happening.

Code: Select all
