GREAT! Now iOS 8 makes sense again

No seriously: without iSub my ipad was almost useless :-/ Once again it botherd me very much, that there is no HTML5-Streaming in Subsonic per default. In my opionion this should be THE top-priorityitem on Sindres TODO-List for Subsonic 5.1 . Flash just sucks and should be replaced

Just updated iSub for 8.02 IOS on iPad and having issues changing EQ settings and returning to the play/pause screen. Have to turn off and restart my iPad in order to get the play/pause screen back.

Anyone else having this issue and, if so, have you found a workaround without having to restart?

Hi guys,

Great news! So maybe we're not up a creek with GPL3? Maybe Apple was just really behind approving app updates. Now, I wonder what's causing the iPad issue. Any ideas there?

The app has been under GPL3 for six months. Maybe Apple doesn't care unless they are popular apps like VLC... Maybe it's a matter of time.

Just updated to 3.1.6 on my iPad 3 running 8.0 (not yet updated to 8.0.2) and everything seems to be working fine. Which iPad and iOS are you running? Were you able to fix the issue by killing the app as wannabe_nerd suggested?

Also, related question. Back around 3.0.9 (which I'm still running on my phone), we identified an issue with large caches in which the app UI would just freeze for 4-5 seconds, but the music would keep playing. Was this issue ever fixed?

Killing the app fixes the issue but it re-occurs every time you go to adjust the EQ settings. Also, the now playing screen no longer toggles to the list of songs & doesn't allow use of the lyric view. Also, "Chat" now overlays the song title at the top of the now playing screen. Using iOS 8.02 on iPad 3. tr

I can confirm this: every time I open the EQ the bug is back. Only killing the app seems to work :-/ it makes me sad to know, that the guy behind iSub has no time to improve the app anymore

After getting iSub to successfully run on my iPad 8.02, I thought I'd give it a try on my iPhone. When I hook the iPhone up to the Organizer app in xCode, it tells me the version of iOS on the phone is not supported by the version of the iOS SDK. Has anyone else seen this?

What phone is it? 6? Because on Xcode 5 I only managed to get the app to launch & build on a 4s/5. For my iPhone 6 I had to use the current archive method. My guess is that there may be a small but critical difference between the SDKs for iPhone 6s & the SDKs for everything else.

It's an iPhone 5. Odd that it loads fine on my iPad Air, but gives the error message on the iPhone.

anyone else having an issue where not all tracks appear in iSub? This is the same type of tracks, but it only shows part of many albums.

They appear on a web browser using subsonic and work in iTunes. But not in iSub.

isub with the latest updates keeps crashing on my iPhone 6 Plus. Everytime I try to open it just crashes to the Home screen. Any ideas? I tried killing the app and also tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
