How do I actually cast to my Chromecast?

I have Subsonic 5.0 beta2 installed and have a Chromecast and the Subsonic Android app. Maybe I'm being dense, but I can't seem to figure out how to cast from either the web interface or the Subsonic app. I'm familiar with casting Netflix, YouTube, etc. I feel like I'm missing something very basic that's maybe keeping the Cast icon from appearing. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a .subsonic.org address for my server but I see no references for casting except the vague "Subsonic now has Chromecast support" posts here in the forums. A screenshot of what I'm supposed to be seeing would be great!

If you go to the subsonic site from a computer and start the stream, you will see the chromecast icon in the lower right.

It seems you can't already be connected to the Chromecast (using the cast icon in the playlist) before you cast from the video stream. You must go as if you are going to play the video on your PC and then click the cast icon as shown above.

It would be nice if the Android app supported casting, as well. That way I don't have to control it from my PC, which is not in the same room as my TV.
