Transcoding not working on QNAP after upgrade to 5.0

Problem Description: I performed an upgrade from 4.8 (I think) by replacing the war file, I can now browse my music via web and iSub but nothing plays and I get the following error in the logs

Troubleshooting Steps: I've tried various transcoding setting from the help pages but no joy
Playback Application and version: Web browser and iSub on iPhone
License Subsonic Premium
Version 5.0 (build 4100) – September 21, 2014
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0, Linux (59.0 MB / 96.7 MB)
Hardware Platform: QNAP

In case anyone comes across this post with a similar issue, I resolved it by overwriting the version of ffmpeg on the QNAP with a newer version.
