No Music is imported

Subsonic 5.0 is not importing any music.

I'm adding a directory path on my home server to the Subsonic Media Folder field, saving and hitting Scan media folders now. The contents of the folder are chmod'd a+r.

Having the same problem. The problem arose immediately after installing Subsonic 5.0 from version 4.x (I can't recall) on OSX Mavericks 10.9.5.

My issue arises from a USB connected hard drive. In version 4.x, my MP3 folder on the external hard drive was found by Subsonic and had no issues adding its files to the library. In 5.0, however, Subsonic still finds my MP3 folder on the external hard drive, but no longer pulls in the files to the library.

I've tested this by adding MP3 on a local disk without error.

I resolved my issue by re-naming my MP3 folder on my external drive, and then updating the Subsonic settings to match the re-named MP3 folder. Perhaps it was a database conflict issue converting from 4.x to 5.0, even though I selected "clean-up database"

Mine is a fresh install on ubuntu 14.04 with an ext4 drive mounted the traditional manner via fstab. It may be worth noting that I am also sharing this drive via cifs, but Subsonic is accessing via absolute path.

Is it possible to download a 4.x version?
