Large file never finishes loading (thus never plays) on iSub

Postby ajkessel » Wed Nov 26, 2014 5:28 pm

Using Subsonic 5.0 on a Debian system; latest iSub client on iPhone 5S.

Occasionally, a large track will never play or cache on iSub. For example, I have an m4a file now that is 21MB. iSub starts to queue it up, but before the queue bar gets to the "completion" point, it restarts. It will keep doing this forever until I just select another track. On the server side, the log just shows the standard message over and over, no error:

Code: Select all
[2014-11-26 12:15:11,431] INFO PlayQueueInputStream - adam listening to "[filename]"

When I try to play the same file via the web interface, it works fine.

I don't believe there is any transcoding going on with my configuration. Nor do I have any bitrate limits.

Any suggestions for how to fix/troubleshoot? I don't expect any more releases of iSub, so this would have to be some sort of server-side bandaid.
