Bug - music plays through speaker briefly upon unplugging he

On my stock Nexus 5, I've noticed that whenever I unplug headphones while music is playing, a brief burst of sound will play through the speaker.

Not a huge deal, but it is surprising when it happens, especially in a quiet place.

I haven't noticed this with other music players.

Anybody else care you test and see?

I've looked into this before and didn't find anything. I just tried again and came across this thread which says that for some weird reason Google decided to hardcode a 1 second delay before telling apps that the headphones are being unplugged. It even has a work around listed: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4124 ... cast-delay. I should be able to fix it in this upcoming version, or possibly the next (I have a lot of things I'm trying to work on right now, so might get bumped back).

Scott, I'm not sure if you fix this yet, but i'm running 4.8.5 and it happens to me every single time I leave my car.
