How can I adjust played counter for specific album

Postby kdid » Wed Aug 05, 2009 6:07 pm

I have some albums that have counters that is to hi due to experimenting some on playback of the albums tracks. Now I want to adjust some of them to a more correct level.

Is there a way to do that? I believe I will need to adjust it in the database file subsonic.data, but I am not sure how to do that.

Anyone that knows how to?

Login as admin

Go to the url bar at the top of yoru browser and replace "index.view" with "db.view". For example http://yourserver/subsonic/db.view

This will give you a new page

Enter
Code: Select all
select * from music_file_info
and press OK

This will give you a list of all your music folders

Then find the ID (the first column) next to the ablums you want to update and enter the following command.

Of course you will have to use the actual ID of your album instead of 555 as well as whatver play count you want.

Code: Select all
UPDATE music_file_info
SET PLAY_COUNT = 0
WHERE ID = 555
