Installed Subsonic & paid for premium.When I goto to set up this is what im getting

Automatically configure your router to allow incoming connections to Subsonic (using UPnP or NAT-PMP port forwarding).

If your router can't be configured automatically you can set it up manually. Follow the instructions on portforward.com. You must forward port 4040 to the computer running the Subsonic server.

Status: Successfully forwarding port 4040 and port 4041.

Access your server over the Internet using an easy-to-remember address.

Status: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX.subsonic.org responded successfully, but could not authenticate it.


But when i put the server setting into my phone & press the test button all I get is network error after it attempts 4 times,Any advice would graful be received to get up & running.

You will need to open the router port manually.

Set up & ports 8 & 4040 they can now be seen but im getting this msg
Status: XXXXXXXXXXXX.subsonic.org responded successfully, but could not authenticate it. on the readynas & "a network error occurred.Retrying 4 of 4" on my Android phone.

Getting more odd,my mate can access it from his laptop at work it'll play music but not video.He had to use firefox as it wouldn't work on chrome.But the Android app still wont even find the server????

Can play audio now over the internet but not video ive tried the work around in this thread but no joy,any ideas anyone?
