Shuffle all in offline mode?

Postby oneiris » Mon Mar 16, 2015 9:59 pm

When in offline mode, is it possible to shuffle all the cached tracks? So far all I've managed to do is create a playlist of 100 random tracks but that's not really the behaviour I'm looking for.

The same way you do from online mode. The shuffle button from the Home or Library tabs.

I've tried both ways: they only play a maximum of 100 random tracks (I've set shuffle size to 100 in the settings). I'm looking for a way to play all cached tracks in a random order. Is that possible?

I've tried setting the shuffle playlist size to 0 in the settings, but all that happens when I click the shuffle button while offline is a message that says it's building the playlist. I left it to do this for 10 minutes and still nothing happened.

I'm not sure why you would set the playlist size to 0 and expect anything to happen. It's 0, so nothing being added makes sense. It doesn't display every cached song in the entire app at the same time. It adds songs as you play, so as you go through it will continually add new songs on the end and remove them from the front.

I tried 0 just to see if it would enable the behaviour I was looking for.

I didn't realise new songs would be added to the end as you play through, though. Thanks for clarifying how the shuffle functionality works. That pretty much answers my question.

Thanks for the great app, daneren2005.
