Samsung s5 lock screen

Hey all

Couldn't find an answer to this, but is there a way to disable the full screen album cover on the lock screen? I have a Samsung s5. It happened with s3 as well. I did see that a dsub update (2013?) stated the "ability to place large widget on lockscreen for Android 4.2+". Is there a way to turn that off or have it revert to what it used to be where it took over only the top 1/4 of the lock screen? Otherwise, it's very difficult to see the keypad to unlock the screen, especially for light colored albums. Good (or bad?) thing I don't own the White album.

Audio, another previous update stated "Display Artist instead of Album on lockscreen". Is that still a feature?

This is a "feature" in Android. You can disable it with Xposed but I'm pretty sure there is a way for a player to specify it as well which would be nice.

It actually was fixed recently with lollipop, but it only affects the Samsung stock player and maybe google music (didn't try google
