JW is embedded and works... but only plays test video?

Postby vertigocreative » Tue Dec 02, 2008 2:51 pm

First post. New user. Everyone here is way smarter than me. But following these directions I got the jw player working... but it will only play the test video included with the player!? No matter which file I click "play" the dumb test video plays.

Could someone help me get jwplayer to play MY files? I have no idea where to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I'm running a WAR install on winXP, under Tomcat. Thanks!

(edit) If it helps... When closing the browser I also get a script error:

Line: 53
Char: 3
Error: Object Required
Code:0
URL: http://70.243.100.254:8080/subsonic/webPlayer.view

Thanks again!

FYI, Subsonic 3.6 will feature a fully integrated JW player.

I haven't tested it, but in theory at last flv videos should work well.

If possible, include a ffmpeg binary in the transcoding pack! It can transcode most video formats to flv on the fly. Muahaha!
