DLNA/UPnP (Updated to requested Help format)

Postby dsiminiuk » Mon Jun 08, 2015 2:27 pm

I would search for more information on this error but the damn search function doesn't work!!!

I enabled DLNA Server and my Smart TV nor VLC can play media.

Problem Description: I can browse media but when I try to play mp3 files for example, nothing plays and the player just skips to the next file, then the next file and then the next.
Troubleshooting Steps: Tried a different UPNP player (VLC) same results.
Playback Application and version: Built in Vizio TV Multimedia App, VLC is 2.2.1
Subsonic Version: 5.2.1 (build 4428) – March 4, 2015
Server Version: jetty-6.1.x, java 1.8.0_31, Windows Server 2008 R2 (115.3 MB / 178.1 MB)
Hardware Platform: Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit, a XenServer 6.5 VM. 2GB RAM, 3.2 GHz CPU.
Java Memory Limit: 250 Mb
Problem Filename: ALL FILES
Output from ffmpeg -i: for ABBA S.O.S. (very appropriate eh?)
Code: Select all

Your transcoding from mp3 to mp3? Sometimes this is Player related (Settings-Player). Turn OFF transcoding to see if it works, then re-enable trnscoding to see if that breaks it again.
