New Chromecast with Subsonic - Misses first seconds of songs

Just bought the new Chromecast device, set it up and was able to cast from subsonic quite easily from the PC. Looking forward to a possible android / iphone app in the near future?!? One issue, when I switch songs the first few seconds are always cut off. I am guessing because the song is starting immediately but there is a small delay to when it is played through the TV. Any fix for this, even if there is a way to delay the start of the song by a few seconds?

And to add to that, the video plays great, only issue I am having is the first few seconds are being cut off. Not really noticeable with the video but when it cuts off the first few notes of a song it is pretty obvious and annoying.

Interesting. I have an Audio CC arriving wednesday...will see if it too skips the first few seconds.

Curious if anyone else if having this issue - Casting video from subsonic works great - Casting audio from subsonic also works great EXCEPT it misses the first few seconds of each song. I have tried several things cannot seem to get it to play from the beginning of the song. Any ideas?

I have noticed the same thing. It seems to skip the first three seconds of the track or so regardless of if I manually progress the track, or it naturally transitions from one track to the next at the end of a song.

I would also like to know if the CC Audio has this problem or not. I've thought about picking one up, but might wait if it has the same issue.
