DLNA not working

Postby brycelarge » Fri Nov 06, 2015 9:52 am

Hi All,

I have subsonic running on FreeNas with two NIC cards using LACP.

I cannot for the life of me get the DLNA feature of subsonic working.

I did read a similar topic in the forums regarding multiple NIC cards but I didnt understand any of the solutions and Im not even sure if that's the problem.

Can anyone offer me a helping hand and point me in the right direction so I can get the DLNA working?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just as a note:

I have plex and emby installed on FreeNas as well and both of those DLNA service works so it cant be the router.

I also see in the logs: No UPnP router found, I have UPnP enabled on the router and I can confirm its working.

Hi All,

I removed the second NIC card and disabled LACP but that did not fix the problem at all.

DLNA feature does not work

Please can anyone help?

Hey guys, can anyone offer some advice or insight or just some ideas on how to debug my DLNA problem.

I installed Btsync FreeNas plugin enabled UPnP in Btsync and I can confirm that Btsync opens the port, so the router is definitionally working, I have manual forwarded my port and that too is working as I’m able to get externally access.

Tested Plex and Emby DLNA on the FreeNas and all work without any problems.

There must be something causing this

I guess there are not many FreeNas users...could be a discovery (zeroconf, etc.) issue?

Hi alphawave7, thanks for the reply. Not too sure what you mean by zeroconf, etc?
