When I have a podcast episode cached and I go offline, the podcast top level item is empty. But if I go to the library there is a podcast item and the podcasts are listed in there.

Does it only happen with one podcast or with all of them? I just tried a couple and they showed up.

Can you try adding another to see if that takes care of it?

Or even share the url of that podcast. If it has any special characters in it that might have been why it failed to save it for offline.

No special characters other than ? and =

I can't share it as it is a premium link that I am paying for.

on the latest beta, i received a notification that a podcast i have set to "sync" had a new episode available, but it had not actually been cached. i had to cache it manually. i will disable and enable sync again on some other shows , and see if that works.

The sync is functioning correctly. The problem actually stems from the recent episodes. The recent episodes were not generating the correct file path, and that incorrect path was being cached for when viewing the podcast listing as well. Ironically it was only the sync which was caching correctly. Thanks for catching this it will be fixed in the next Beta.

A beta out with fixes for the stuff mentioned

Releasing first BETA in quite a while. I know a crap ton of people are having general issues, and this only fixes some of them. As long as it isn't introducing any NEW issues I'm not going to be delaying the release for more bug fixes.
