Subsonic stops running on power donw on Raspbery Pi

I successfully installed Subsonic and got it running on my raspberry pi along with mapping network drives to get it to index.

However now after a poweroff off from the Pi subsonic is it is no longer running and I can't get it to restart.

I have tried sudo service subsonic restart

and another dpkg and reinstall and no luck the webpage is not opening again

Sometimes the subsonic start-up time it's pretty long, so try wait (sometimes till 40 minutes). Also check the subsonic.log and the subsonic_sh.log to see if the program is starting (or running)

Is subsonic actually running? You should be able to see it in (h)top from a terminal.

If you didn't already I recommend using DietPi.net for your installer, it's a really quick, easy and proven way to get subsonic running on a raspberry pi.

Sometimes (as has been pointed out) it takes a while for the subsonic server to 'find itself' after a boot/reboot but I've also seen situations where two processes were spawned on reboot and it prevented it from working, if you see two in htop just kill one of them and it should all spring to life.
