AVSub 13 - Podcasts

Hi all

V13 of AVSub is out now and adds podcast functionality.

You can now listen to your subscribed podcasts and interact with the Subsonic server to tell it to download the latest episodes.

Podcasts can be cached and bookmarked, and there's the option to playback at speeds upto 1.9x the original speed.

Other tweaks include
* Cached images are loaded in the background
* Options to always show the bookmark and playback icons
* Battery related fixes for streaming

PS - I forgot to add the translations for the new Podcasts strings, so those not using it in English might have some problems - fix coming in 14! This only affects new functionality.

Bear with me if i'm not the first one asking this, but as far as i can see there is only one server adress i can enter. No dropdown or several favorites to select from. I'm listening to subsonic at home (internal network) and on the road (external network). So whenever i'm changing locations i have to reenter the server address.

Can you change this?

Hi,

in the next version, I've added a secondary address for the same server, which is will try if it can't connect to the primary.

This fits your exact need.

Is there a way to turn off auto title scrolling? For example on my Disney playlist every single title and artist scrolls and at different speeds making the now playing screen nauseating to look at. Otherwise good app. I got a iPad for Christmas and just decided to buy AVSub today and so far I like most of it. There are a bunch of things that I wish were more like DSub but I think that has more to do with me having developed a app specific to my tastes than anything you are doing wrong
