PORT FORWARDING and Getting Set-Up

Forgive me. I am a newb.

I am trying to set up my subsonic so that I can stream from a personal url.

I have set up automatic port forwarding and the message I get back says that the port forwarding has been successful.

When I go to: Access your server over the Internet using an easy-to-remember address. I get the following message:

Status: Could not connect to xxxxx.subsonic.org. (ConnectTimeoutException)

Any ideas or help?

You need to manually open the port on your router. Reboot the router after adding the port, and test your port at canyouseeme.org
