i think you will need to go back to 1.6.0_14 for now.

Hmm.. bluetooth, do you have SSL configured in your setup?
Considering donpearsons post which he refers to I am wondering if this is either an Windows issue with the latest java update or maybe it's the SSL configuration that gets broken. I do not have SSL setup but am running fine on 1.6.0_16
Currently without Subsonic due to hardware failure :(

I tried uninstalling and just reinstalling the latest version of Java, and at least for now - it seems to be working. Thanks to both of you for your help - much appreciated.

you might want to try to remove your java and reinstall the newest update then. bluetooth got it working on Win2003 Server ;)
Currently without Subsonic due to hardware failure :(
