Ports forwarded, but still "failed to create port forwarding

Postby nightshrill » Sun May 22, 2016 12:31 pm

Well subsonic worked for a small amount of time (24 hours). And then, out of nowhere I suddenly get "failed to create port forwarding" with no other explanation in the log file. The port is open per pfsense, it is forwarded per my router, my bridge has no effect on ports being forwarded, and my OS (WIndows 10 x64) also has the port open in the firewall. What the heck is going on?

With Subsonic running, test your port at canyouseeme.org. If detected, UNCHECK the 'automatically forward my port' setting. It is not needed if you have already manually forwarded, and many routers simply fail using the setting.

I appreciate the polite and helpful reply to what I admit in retrospect was a perhaps short post. I went to canyouseeme.org and checked - funny part is, and I found this out later on as the day has proceeded - I am able to access/reach the server on my iPhone and phone's browser (both safari and chrome) when not connected to the local network - but when I connect to my local network it immediately tells me it's unavailable. This is also with disabling the automatic port forwarding as well.
