Play / Pause with Camera Button Broken after 5.1.6

I know I'm late posting this, but experiencing an issue that is keeping me from updating DSub... I have a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, which has a dedicated camera button on the side of the phone. This button also functions as a Play / Pause Button when music is playing.

This broke in version 5.1.7 and this feature stopped working. I have tried a few version updates, but the feature is still broken. Version 5.1.6 is the last one that that feature still worked, so I'm still using that one.

Is there anyway this can be added back in? I use this feature a ton, since I use my phone as my music player in my car.
