Subsonic 6.0 released

I found a bug in version 6.0.

I have seen this bug at one movie. I have uploaded a Movie in mp4 Format with Subsonic´s Upload function from PC to another PC. All my PCs are connected with LAN.

And i see this bug.:



I had this Bug at one file. All other uploads works normal.

Subsonic 6 works fine and stable...
...but what i hate is this Mouse over Pop Out Playlist Window. When i move my mouse to play button then the window pop out. When i want that the playlist is open then she closes. This is extrem annoying
Please turn off this function. Or integrate an option where you can disable this.

Try Settings -> Personal -> Turn off "Auto-expand play queue".

But another problem... When i add a folder with over 300 Songs to a playlist then subsonic does nothing. I see a popup Window with message that say "Songs where added to playlist". But no error and nothing in my playlist.

What i do. I use the option "Mark all" and then "Add to playlist" But it does not work. My playlist will be empty.

If you do that Subsonic expects you to already have an ( empty) playlist to which the selected songs can be added.
In the Menuitem Playlists ( top of your screen) you first have to create an empty playlist. And than you can go and populate the list with your favorite songs.

I'm a bit late to the party as I just now updated my Subsonic to 6.0. I just came here to say how pleased I am with the new looks, keep up the good work!

Hi Sindre. I have a wish Please can u update your Android Subsonic too? I use it on Fire TV Stick. It works, but any of the Color hovers does not work. And a Alexa Skill would be good

PS: And another Problem...
I can as a guest without Download Rights download all Songs and Videos from Subsonic. What i do?!
I use the Browser Addon "Video Downloadhelper". For Example..a MP3: I do start short the Song and the Video Downloadhelper show me the file to download as mpeg. After the Download i rename mpeg to mp3. And now i have the Song in the same quality like in Subsonic ^^

As I said in the other form, SubFire is an app specifically designed to work on the Fire TV/Stick.

An Alexa/Echo skill requires authentication through OAuth, which the API doesn't support, so someone would need to write an adapter that would associate your subsonic login with your amazon login, and you would need to trust that app writer.

I think the normal Subsonic works good (the most settings) The API is, of course, a problem. I understand that too. But it's not an insoluble problem
