I recently set up a new modem/router on my local network.
Outside my local network, I no longer can access my subsonic. Please assist.
When I try to save the settings in Settings>Network, I get the following:
Automatically configure your router to allow incoming connections to Subsonic (using UPnP or NAT-PMP port forwarding).
If your router can't be configured automatically you can set it up manually. Follow the instructions on portforward.com. You must forward port 3535 to the computer running the Subsonic server.
Status: Successfully forwarding port 3535.
Access your server over the Internet using an easy-to-remember address.
Use http://squares.subsonic.org
Use custom URL (advanced)
http://
Status: Could not connect to squares.subsonic.org. (NoRouteToHostException)
note the status:
Status: Could not connect to squares.subsonic.org. (NoRouteToHostException)
I have not been able to find a solution to this anywhere in the forums. Anyone have any idea? Thanks.
I'm on Windows 7, my router is a Belkin AC1600.
Note this is different than the common port forwarding error, YourServerName.subsonic.org is registered, but could not connect to it. (ConnectTimeoutException)
Not the same error.
