AVSub 19.5 is out

Hi all,

AVSub 19.5 just hit the App Store.

Only 1 feature in it - crossfade. With it you can not only turn it on/off, but specify the crossfade duration and also choose to either have it on always or just when shuffling.

I've also fixed a bug that could cause the audio to stop while it was fetching cover-art. That doesn't happen now, although there does appear to be an issue with the lock screen. Will look at this for the next release.

Been busy at work, hence the slow updates!

Original: Is there something special needed to turn on crossfade? I've set "Crossfade enabled" to "Always", and "Crossfade duration" to "10s", but no songs started, or already in the queue crossfade.

Update: Crossfade works fine on single folders, but not when the playlist is cross-folder.

I may have to resind. I was not seeing any crossfade for the first few days, but with repetitive use, actions that had been consistent in reproducing the non-crossfade stopped (pause, forward, back, etc.) no longer stop crossfade. Whereas my initial findings of not crossfading were on items not in the cache, I'm not seeing relatively consistent behavior regardless of items being in cache, or on-demand. I guess I don't have a constructive follow up at this point. - J
