Similar albums option is crappy

Title speaks for itself.

Kitaro points to Vangelis, but not to Jean Michel Jarre
Goldfrapp ( Syntpop ) points to Ladytron, and to Kate Bush ( redicilous)
It does not point to other Synthpop artists like X-marks The Pedwalk, Softcell, Yazoo, Erasure, Marnie, Alphamay, Frozen Plasma, etc etc
Thundermother points to Doro, but Doro does not point to Thundermother, as well as to Roxxie Dee and tons of other Hard Rock artists.

Therefore it is very hard to keep track of my artists in my collection.
Mostly i forget them, because they are not mendtioned in the similar artists option.

Extremely anoying!!

Who or what decides what artists are similar?

last.fm provides the data. however, it only works if you have an exact match in the name, as the api matches names, not IDs. generally subsonic is constrained by what results come back from last.fm.
