Subsonic 6.1.3 (pre-)released

It's not yet officially published on subsonic.org, but Subsonic 6.1.3 is now available for download from
https://sourceforge.net/projects/subson ... onic/6.1.3

It contains some important bug fixes:

Bugfix: Avoid player getting stuck when playing transcoded tracks.
Bugfix: Externally modified tracks disappear in Subsonic.
Bugfix: Hide links, buttons etc in the web interface if a user is not allowed to play music.

Sorry for taking so long to address these issues!

I would be glad to get feedback on this before making the release official.

Yes, sooner or later The Synology builds are currently made by someone else, but I'm hoping to do this as part of the standard release procedure.

Just installed this release. I have modified an album using external editor and started a scan of media folders - Scan is very slow. It could take hours to complete. Will report back.

Sounds right. The first scan will be a complete re-scan (to catch up with all modifications). Subsequent scans should be much faster.

Scan complete. Found a number of missing tracks and the album I edited is still in the database with all of it's tracks. Edited another album and it is also in database properly after re-scan. Yes, the re-scan was much faster.

Installed this update on my server last night. Appears to be working fine now. Recognizes my changes to tags and cover art.

This might be a related problem.

I have just added a new album and ran a scan. It and all the tracks are in the library, however the album art didn't make it even though it is in the tags. Re-scanned and still not there.

2 scan runs, same result for all new records

This is probably not 6.1.3-specific, but I just updated to it from 6.0, and two bugs that were marked as fixed are still occurring for me:

1) Download play queue broken if containing duplicate songs.
2) "Download all" always results in corrupt zip file.

Can anyone confirm that these are now fixed for you? Is there something else I need to update?
