SqueezeSonic subsonic plugin for LMS (squeezebox server)

Postby josquin » Fri Apr 13, 2018 3:47 pm

Hi,

Just to let you know that a plugin (SqueezeSonic) to access Subsonic API (> 1.11.0) capable server from a Logitech Media Server(LMS) is now available as a third party software in the base LMS install.

Have a good day.

Does it work?

I'm able to connect to an external Subsonic from my LMS. Browsing and searching works fine, but it won't play anything. Albums/songs are added to the LMS playlist, but just "plays" a couple of seconds on each song (no sound).

Yes it works.

Could you please provide plugin parameters including transcoding stuff, logs of your LMS and subsonic serers and your a setup description?

What squeezebox "player" do you use?

In case it's a public subsonic server, could you send me a test account in PM?

This is genius! Thank you so much!

Integrating subsonic into LMS is something that's been on my wishlist for for years, and now it's finally possible.
