Problem with remote connection on apps

I'm having an issue connecting with a remote adress on app. Using the ".subsonic.org" address available it works both on app and web browser, however it doesn't update the IP automatically when my router resets. As a workaround, I've set up a separate address with NoIP ("*.ddns.net"). It works fine on web browsers, even on an android web browser, but it won't connect on the apps (DSub or Subsonic android app). Any idea why the NoIP "ddns.net" address doesn't on apps, or any way to periodically update the "*.subsonic.org" IP?
