I have absolutely no issues with Subsonic. Works great and does EXACTLY what I need. The last update was Oct 2017. I'm not sure that should be considered lack of development. One good release a year is good enough for me. Thanks Subsonic team!

It's not just that the last update was Oct 2017. The last post from the developer in this forum was in Nov 2017. Bug reports on the sourceforge page have been "awaiting moderator approval" for months.

If subsonic were still open source, it wouldn't be dependent on the enthusiasm (existence?) of one person. There is no "Subsonic team!"

As it is, the writing is on the wall.

When you're dev master, you can use invisible mode!

Subsonic is setup pretty well and just works.... If you're looking for bleeding edge features and more than vanilla features, you probably need to migrate to the madsonic fork. But be ready to pay for it!!

Two updates this year so I guess Subsonic lives on! Thanks For the great software. I use it everyday

I use Plex and Subsonic, I had used mostly plex until this week when I went to try and stream/shuffle play from my Xmass folder for tunes @ work, HA not gonna happen with Plex. PLex will not allow you to stream from folder.
Very annoying.
