Connect Subsonic on remote server (reverse proxied) to SONOS

Hello,

just installed subsonic last night and seems to be working just fine. I already reverse proxied it so I can access through https://mydomain.com/subsonic and added the service in SONOS following this: http://www.subsonic.org/pages/sonos.jsp

but it doesn't seem to work since once the service is added in SONOS it doesnt connect my user
what am I missing?

And if I dont reverse proxy it (which I wouldnt mind) I can access and browse all the folders in SONOS but when trying to play sonething it throws “no connection to the server”

consider me interested in the solution as well.

For now I have (in addition to the remote server) a local server running (power efficient odroid c2 with external hdd) which is also reverse proxied with https termination at the proxy (nginx) and this works beautifully with Sonos. My goal is to use only the remote server but like you I haven't figured out how to connect successfully to Sonos.
