Playlist song path

My M3U playlists contain relative paths to my songs and are not working in Subsonic i.e. folder\song.mp3
When I change the paths to absolute, they work i.e. c:\folder\song.mp3

I have a lot of playlists.

Is there a way to change this behavior or do I have to change my playlists?
