Problem with subsonic reverse apache

I'm using Subsonic on unbuntu server 22.04 with apache2. I have read a lot of documentation on the internet for Subsonic to be reachable at http://myserver.com/subsonic by setting up a reverse server. Subsonic works perfectly when I access it from http://myserver.com:4040 or when I access via the reverse server that I would like to: http://myserver.com/subsonic subsonic seems to load in a way incomplete. You need to look at the broken links for clues, but my guess is the reverse proxy you setup is not rewriting the links correctly for the subdirectory you specified.
