subsonic album art requests

Postby linuxman » Sat Sep 23, 2006 5:58 am

What utility is it using to pull the album art from amazon? I am behind a proxy that is very restrictive and I need to edit whatever variable is setting this download to point to my proxy authentication client running on the localhost. Is this using some other utility or did you code it within the java code somewhere and if so is there a file I can edit to change/add this setting?

Album art is fetched using the Amazon Web Service (http://soap.amazon.com/onca/soap?Servic ... rceService).
This URL comes from the WSDL (http://webservices.amazon.com/AWSEComme ... rvice.wsdl).

There is no way to override this in Subsonic (unless you want to change the source code and recompile).

Ok so now can you take the album art that was imported in one subsonic server and import it to another subsonic server or is there a simple way to just copy the jpgs?

f you're on unix, the easiest is probably to create a tar file with all the image files. Something like:
Code: Select all
tar cvf coverart.tar $(find . -name folder.*)

Then untar the file in the target server.
