Droid Hard Crash

I downloaded Subsonic on Friday, and after a lot of reading through the forums, I finally was able to share a few folders of music to give Subsonic a test run. I was very happy to get everything running until I noticed that the currently playing song stopped. When I got to the phone, the phone was powered down. When I tried turning it back on, it wouldn't work! I had to pull out the battery to get the Droid to turn on again. I thought it was just a random thing at first, but this afternoon I ran Subsonic for the second time and it happened again!!! This is the ONLY time I have had an app (seemingly) power down the phone, and today was the first time I have had to pull the battery out for any reason.
I looked through the forums and didn't see any similar posts. Thoughts?

On Monday I decided to give Subsonic another try. When I went back to check my settings, I realized that GMote, MeCanto, and Subsonic were all running. Whether it should make a difference or not, after I disabled GMote and Mecanto, Subsonic seems to be running fine. I've listened to my music on the way to work the last two mornings with an occasional stutter, but no more of the hard crashes like earlier.
