Hi

I've tried searching the forum for an answer for the question but didn't find an answer.
It's possible that I did not search correctly, if so here hare my apologies.
The question is...

I've installed Subsonic, but:
- Music folders with letters like "ã" do not appear on the left.
- Music's with litters like the one above appear(with "" instead of the letter), but don't play.

The strange is at the right and bottom playlist appears the name with the letter "Clã"

I'm running the Subsonic with the latest jre and tomcat versions in a ClearOS server. The music files are stored locally.

I do not know if matters, but the output of my system locale is:
LANG=pt_PT.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_NAME="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_TELEPHONE="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="pt_PT.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="pt_PT.UTF-8"

I have the same problem like you,
For problem 1, "- Music folders with letters like "ã" do not appear on the left. "
It may be a bugs, I have the same problem when music folders with Chinese or Japanese character, but after I change some setting in Settings > Personal > Browse.. then folders appear again.

For problem 2,
Try to save your mp3's tag in UTF-16 encoding. I save tag in both ID3v1 and ID3v2 version, don't know which one will subsonic read.
